Declutter The Office Chairs and Couch

I had lost count of how many offices that I had visited where I saw my colleagues put their coats, scarfs, hats, umbrellas, backpacks, lunch bags, Trader Joe's reusable shopping bags of whatever on the chairs and couches.  I myself also threw similar items onto the chairs in my own office because I didn't meet with clients in my office. None of us did. We met with our clients in the fancy conference room.  But today when I had to meet with my client in my own office because the conference room was occupied by someone else, I suddenly saw my coat and handbag lying on my office couch as the eye sores.  I also noticed my client's awkwardness when she was trying to pile her coat and scarf onto the chair in front of mine.  After my client left my office, I immediately ordered a coat stand. I don't know why for so many years, I never thought of having a coat stand in my office. But today I see how having one totally makes sense. We have a coat closet at home by the entry way, why don't we have a place to hang our coats and scarfs in our office?   I therefore bought one for US$21.00 with free shipping.
